Remodeling Case Studies: Home Addition in Silver Spring, MD

Nick and Sarah in Silver Spring, MD wanted to have a two-story addition built onto their home. They contacted Integrity to start the process. Integrity sent their specialist to look over the home and the additional space needed to construct this project and provide Nick and Sarah with an estimate. Once the details and estimate were agreed upon, the Integrity team sprang into action. The next step involved constructing a foundation and building the two-story addition with a patio attached to the rear of the new building, then using their finishing team to craft the inside of the addition and make it a dream come true.

Permits in hand, the Integrity team began with the foundation for the two story addition. Framing, walls, roofing and windows later, the addition was ready for siding and exterior finish work. The inside work was progressing as well: Electrical wiring, plumbing, drywall, custom tile work, trim, paint flooring, and finish work to create a living area and bathroom on the first floor, and a bedroom and second bathroom on the second floor. In the mean time, another Integrity crew sectioned off the patio space and installed foundation and decking to create the new patio area installing railing along the side, according to plan.
