5 Common Siding Problems to be Aware of

Siding not only protects your home, it is a source of aesthetic appeal. The overall look and condition of the siding can impact the home’s value. Some common siding problems occur due to weathering and aging, while others may be the result of improper installation. 1. Warping or Buckling

If your home has wood siding, it should be tightly affixed to the home’s exterior. Vinyl siding is not constructed the same way, however. 5. Noisy Siding

If vinyl siding is too tight, it does not have enough room to expand and contract and homeowners may hear creaking and popping.
